Life is simple... but often I feel so much burden for life... I see death and dying all around me. Life is not what it seems. The visible life we focus on, really is only a distraction for the real life that we can't see. We are so distracted! I am so distracted. Using a farming analogy, I feel that I am a piece of fertile soil underneath a pile of weed and thorns. God knows this, I think, that is why I often receive fire to burn away these weeds... Unfortunately, for our numb-skulls, we often only get a fresh air and sobering true understanding of God's transcending love after terrible suffering.
I believe suffering is essential to show us a true picture of who God is. Suffering is like a crucible... it separates the faithful from the unfaithful. Suffering can really show you who has God's sweet aroma and sweet supernatural love and who does not.
May be that is why I actually really enjoy being amount those who suffer... because, I like being amongst genuine lovers of God.
Remember, it is not what we see that matters. Since God is the only one who can reveal truth, ask God to show you what really matters!
