Kutless, POD, Lincoln Brewster @ Harvest Crusade

I went to the Harvest Crusades today. Going to the HC had been a yearly tradition since I was in junior high school. It has always been at the Anaheim's Angel Stadium, and pastor Greg Laurie has always been the speaker. On Saturday nights, such as tonight, has always been 'Youth Jam' nights, when lots of rock and punk artists come out to put on concerts for the younger audience before Pastor Laurie speaks.

Here is a link to the official site: http://www.harvest.org/crusades/

God had given Pastor Greg Laurie an awesome vision and calling to speak His Word and to call individuals to faith in Him. However, this crusade is different, because Pastor Laurie's eldest son Christopher Laurie just died in a car accident 3 weeks ago on July 24, 2008. This brings the reality home. We can never know when we will breath our last breath, so, when God calls us to make a decision, we need to make it now. As Pastor Laurie says, "We are all IMMORTAL, so the question is not when we will die, but WHERE we are going." There are only 2 places we all immortals can end up, Heaven or Hell. We choose! God doesn't place us at either place. Jesus says, "Whoever is not with me is against me." So, the only way to Heaven is to choose to place our faith in Jesus Christ.

Today's featured artists are P.O.D., Kutless, and Lincoln Brewster. They played many songs that I know and liked. It was a great concert.

The following several pictures are from the Stadium (in reverse chronological order). It was at maximal capacity (total of 50,000 seats). The Harvest Crusade had a total of 3.6 million attendence since 1990 and about 290,000 commitments to Christ. May all the praises and glory be to our LORD. One day we will all praise and worship the Lamb at His throne of Grace. Hallelujah!
